The Anglican Singers has two ‘sister’ choirs, both of which are led by Musical Director, Martin van Bleek.
The Choir of the Anglican Church Haarlem.

We support the choir of The Anglican Church Haarlem on important Christian dates such as Good Friday, Advent and Christmas. Members of the Anglican Singers can also choose to broaden their experience and sing with this choir on Sundays during Choral Worship and Choral Eucharists. A typical Choral Service will include a sung setting, anthem, motet, sung psalm and, of course, hymns. You can read more about music at The Anglican Church Haarlem via their website:
The European Cathedral Singers – ECS

Members of The Anglican Singers can also audition to sing with the European Cathedral Singers (ECS). This choir comprises of singers from across The Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Each summer, ECS takes over from the resident choir in selected English Cathedrals, sings all the choral services, including daily Choral Evensongs, as the resident choir. Often the music rehearsed by The Anglican Singers crosses over with ECS meaning members may already be familiar with much of the selected cathedral repertoire. The European Cathedral Singers have also sung in Malta, Italy and France as part of the Remembrance Day choir in Notre Dame, Paris.
In 2026 The European Cathedral Singers will be the visiting choir at:
St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds, United Kingdom
Experienced choral singers can apply to join us by contacting Martin van Bleek – ECS contact enquiry form
In the last years, The European Cathedral Singers have been the visiting choir in:
2025 – Chichester Cathedral
2024 – Chester Cathedral
2023 – York Minster
2022 – Portsmouth Cathedral
